Our client is a private equity group. With a European headquarters and offices throughout the Middle East, they are currently managing a USD 1 Billion private equity company investing in the petrochemicals, energy intensive and infrastructure sectors in MENA countries and opportunistically in Europe/North America and Asia.
Reporting directly to the Executive Directors, you will be part of a team responsible for: evaluating and undertaking private equity transactions. This will involve: market screening for potential investment opportunities, financial modelling, due diligence and intensive analysis of pre-screened targets; preparation of investment recommendations for investment committee, monitoring of existing fund portfolio investments. Success will be achieved through Teamwork with experienced international private equity investment professionals, which will require significant travel across the GCC region
We are recruiting for an associate with at least four years of work experience in investment banking, private equity or consulting preferably with exposure to the petrochemicals, energy, energy intensive and infrastructure sectors. You must possess excellent academic credentials with a finance degree, an MBA or equivalent from a leading institution and very strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a proactive self-starter, with the desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
