This international real estate investment and development company is looking to fill a new role heading up letting across their German portfolio.
The Head of Leasing will be responsible for optimising leasing across the German portfolio. The role would suit an individual with a detailed knowledge of letting in the German market and the commercial approach to practice this from a principal position.
Candidates will need a broad understanding of the German real estate market, with a particular focus on offices in the main cities. They will ideally already have relationships with major corporate clients and brokers and be capable of utilising these to develop new business.
This will be a fundamental part of the business in Germany and the successful candidate will become a key part of the senior management with involvement throughout the investment process. Candidates will be team players who want to roll their sleeves up and really get involved in all areas.
The German portfolio consists of E1.5 – E2bn of assets under management. The assets are high quality offices in the main cities, with a limited amount of retail attached.
Key Requirements: Extensive track record in German real estate market; Detailed knowledge of lease negotiation and structuring; Broad exposure to the domestic German market, with an international outlook; Capable of working with large corporates and having an impact on them; Commercially minded, with sound business judgement; Fluency in German and English is essential
