My client, a leading accounting firm, is seeking to grow its Corporate Finance presence in the Midlands, so requires a Director / Partner to spearhead the development of the group to be based in Birmingham.
This accounting practice has a strong brand name in the UK and internationally, along with good audit and tax presence regionally. The successful candidates will be expected to leverage the practice’s existing client-base and their own contacts to source both lead advisory / m&a mandates and transaction services / financial due diligence work mainly from SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) and OMBs (Owner Managed Businesses).
You will therefore have had experience leading teams in the execution and origination of mid-market corporate finance deals, ideally with a focus on the Midlands. This experience will probably have been gained in the corporate finance team of an accounting firm, a boutique or regional bank. An accounting qualification (ACA / CA / ACCA / equivalent) would be ideal, but not essential.
